Meet our chefs
Owners and Chefs James Stapley and Sam Cooper, both originally from the UK, met in Wanaka and immediately connected over their passion for good food and good service, without the airs and graces. From arc’s inception, they took the same passion for sourcing local, high-quality ingredients for their menus and applied that to working closely with local craftsmen to redesign the space inside, using recycled native Rimu throughout and decorating with Otago wild flowers, to create a simple but beautiful atmosphere.
