Discover arc, nestled in Wānaka’s main street, a little way up from the hustle and bustle of the lakefront. This warm and relaxed space comes alive from late afternoon, offering delicious drinks and beautifully crafted food into the evening. Our signature monthly changing dinner menu utilizes the best of what the seasons have to offer, using exceptional ingredients, sourced from producers across New Zealand to bring detail and innovation to both the food and cocktail offerings.

The secret native garden is the perfect spot to unwind in the evening with a margarita or martini in hand. Likewise, the warm interior and welcoming service provide the ideal backdrop for a night celebrating with friends or enjoying a cosy, intimate dinner.

Owners and Chefs James Stapley and Sam Cooper, both originally from the UK, met in Wanaka and immediately connected over their passion for good food and good service, without the airs and graces. From arc’s inception, they took the same passion for sourcing local, high-quality ingredients for their menus and applied that to working closely with local craftsmen to redesign the space inside, using recycled native Rimu throughout and decorating with Otago wild flowers, to create a simple but beautiful atmosphere.
